Pixel Pioneer at Christie’s

The renowned auction house Christie’s has teamed up with the Keith Haring Foundation to bring unique digital drawings by the artist into the non-fungible realm. Dubbed 'Keith Haring: Pixel Pioneer,' the upcoming collection will feature five artworks created by Keith on an Amiga computer in the mid-1980s.

Keith Haring was a creative wizard who crafted astonishing vibrant artworks, instantly recognizable by his signature symbols and characters. In addition to being visually captivating, his art also carried a powerful message of social activism, addressing various issues.

The artist is well-known for his audacity and a streak for innovation. Keith was among the first creators of his time to become interested in the emerging field of digital art. In a word, the tokenization of Keith's artworks is a natural extension of his profound artistic legacy.

The renowned electronics giant Casio calls all creators to connect, collaborate, and have fun through its Virtual G-SHOCK program, focused on co-creation and centered around its its iconic line of watches.

All those willing to join the get-together on Discord need to acquire one of 15,000 G-SHOCK creator passes, available for free starting from September 26th. Registered CASIO ID members will enjoy the privilege of obtaining it on September 23rd. In addition to community access, this pass offers a variety of perks for holders, including participation in a range of experiential projects.
