OpenSea to Redesign Platform
NFT marketplace OpenSea has announced its plan to revamp its platform next month. This move could help the platform reclaim a significant portion of its market share among NFT marketplaces.
Without providing an in-depth insight into the upcoming marketplace revamp, OpenSea urged users to join its waitlist by inputting their email addresses or connecting their crypto wallet. Following the announcement, OpenSea’s trading volume and Gemesis NFTs soared.
Amid heightened curiosity, some market experts began speculating several features OpenSea may add to the redesigned platform. Some say the platform could launch a native crypto asset, incorporate additional utility to its Gemesis NFT collection, add support for more blockchains, and diversify to SocialFi by incorporating Farcaster or Lens Protocol.

Cenotes del Alux
Cenotes del Alux is a 10K-piece NFT collection that blends art, conservation, non-fungibility, and sustainable tourism. Inspired by the mythical creature Alux, caring for natural resources, these collectibles were crafted by Mexican artist Sergei Neri and over 20 other artists globally. The collection comes with more than 400 accessories and 100 unique backgrounds, evoking the cultural and natural richness of the region.
Aimed at protecting the cenotes of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, the NFT project team intends to donate 50% of the NFTs to Cenotes del Alux, an organization dedicated to installing dry ecological toilets, showers, and offering training in sustainable practices in cenotes throughout the region.
Each collectible represents a specific cenote and serves as an exclusive access pass to cenotes protected by Cenotes del Alux. Holders will also receive access to more cenotes as time passes.
