⭐ Highlight of the Day
923 Empty Rooms
Two art powerhouses Art Blocks and Bright Moments have teamed up for the second collaboration. Their latest joint art project is the 923 Empty Rooms collection created by generative art pioneer Casey Reas.
The focal points of the collection are simulation, the history of visual representation, and abstraction with the elements of kinetic art, perspective, and cubism. Each out of 923 rooms, a unique space to explore, contains a simulated still life, an arrangement of forms. The main idea behind the collection lies in selecting ‘a colorform’ for each Bright Moments location – Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, London, Mexico City, and Tokyo. When these six colorforms are combined with the help of an algorithm, they create 923 unique combinations presented as a single on-chain collection.
Beginning on August 14th, a week-long show will take place across the six cities, followed by the daily Dutch auctions on the Art Blocks website.

DeGods Season III, The Downgrade
Simplicity, elegance, and downgrading – these are the central tenets of the Season III of the DeGods collection. Relying on the community feedback, the team behind the DeGods upgraded the project, by downgrading it in fact. Based on the community feedback, all the character features were simplified and all of the details such as the shadows were reduced to the bare minimum.
All DeGods holders got a chance to downgrade their characters for a 333 $DUST per piece, breathing new life into them with this move. Besides, DeGods have also launched a new exciting feature aka a novel points system, Points Parlor, launching on August 14th. As 100% of the DUST collected will be put into the Points Parlor prize pool, DeGods holders can count on generous rewards, using loyalty points, earned with their characters.

FC Barcelona Locks in $132M via Barça Vision
Barcelona football club has recently got a whopping $132 million, having sold 29.5% of its web3-focused subsidiary Barca Vision to Libero Football Finance AG and Nipa Capital B.V.
The capital secured ensures that Barcelona has enough funds to register all the players for its first LaLiga game of the season. In addition, money will also be used to strengthen the team with a new right-back and a goalscoring midfielder.
Although Barcelona will now own only 20% of its web3 platform, it doesn’t mean the club is gradually leaving its metaverse ambitions behind. Libero and Nipa in their turn are set to bring years of expertise to the table, skyrocketing Barca Vision to the moon.
