FRF Embraces Football-Themed Non-Fungibility
The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) has joined forces with FIFA Collect and Modex to launch football-themed NFTs. This will be the first non-fungible initiative of its kind, following FIFA’s decision to open FIFA Collect to all football clubs and associations.
NFT collections born from this collaboration will bring Romanian national football team members and fans closer. An FRF executive explained that the partnership will produce exclusive content and unique experiences.

Renowned artist and painter King Overman has fused his fascination for the NFT realm and the Web3 space into one NFT collection. Dubbed the Crap Memes, these collectibles feature 3,069 characters crafted using generative art. The NFT collection is developed in collaboration with CompatibleCreative, an agency that onboards artists and musicians into the Web3 space.
Each character in the collection is hand-drawn on paper, mixing random and surreal humor with a few classic memes. The NFTs have their unique three-word name, conveniently hand-written on the artwork. The various layers have different rarities and traits, such as ‘based’, ‘rizz’, ‘chill’, ‘bonafide’ and many more.
