BAYC’s creator has introduced a P2P marketplace where anyone can buy or sell art, apparel, collectibles, and even weird one-offs tied to the ape-themed collection.
The marketplace is open to everyone. Buyers do not need to hold BAYC or MAYC to own an item. But there’s a catch — purchases must be made in ApeCoin. Whenever buyers acquire an item and enter their shipping address, their funds get held by the platform’s escrow contract. The seller then ships the product’s physical and on-chain versions. Once completed, the escrow contract releases the funds. Really sleek!
