Moonbirds Embraces Non-Fungible Copyright Protection
Popular owl-themed NFT collection Moonbird recently announced its return to enforcing copyright protection for NFT holders. The latest move follows the adoption of Creative Commons (CC0) for the past two years, an initiative that allowed anyone to commercialize any Moonbird NFT without the owner’s consent. Yes! It’s a win for Moonbird holders.
What’s more interesting is that Moonbird’s latest action aligns the project with its new owner, Yuga Labs, a giant in the vast non-fungible realm. That’s right! Yuga Labs acquired Moonbirds earlier this year.
There’s more! Moonbird will be transcending its iconic pixelated display to a 3D version. It will also take a nosedive into Yuga Labs’ Otherside metaverse. Casio Commemorative Watch Collectibles
The iconic watch creator Casio is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its watch series. Through a collaboration with the Astar network, Casio is unveiling a collection of commemorative collectibles called the CASIO WATCHES NFTs.
There will be eight CASIO WATCHES NFTs featured in the drop. One of them is the Casio YoPort capsule machine. Each collectible will be accompanied by an artwork featuring designs of popular Casio watches. But there’s a catch! Holders can see the artwork only on the big reveal day later this month.
Casio’s 50-year legacy will be commemorated on Yoki Origins, an Astar zkEVM described as a Web3 adventure where users discover supernatural Yoki characters based on Japanese culture and folklore.
Here’s the sweetest part: Ten lucky winners will qualify for an exclusive limited-edition G-Shock wristwatch co-branded by Casio and Astar. They will also receive crypto rewards in ASTR tokens.
