Square Enix’s latest move demonstrates its mission to blur the boundaries between traditional gaming and blockchain. Millions of gamers playing both games from Square Enix will benefit from the upcoming NFT rewards to be incorporated into the gameplay dynamics. Time will tell if the company will integrate the NFT capability into other games within its ecosystem.

Coachella Keepsakes Collectibles

The annual Coachella Music and Arts Festival will be taking a new turn this year. Through a newly forged deal with OpenSea, the event will introduce NFT perks into its music-themed occasion.

Under the Coachella Keepsakes, three rounds of NFT collections will be introduced to upscale attendees’ festive experience. The first collection, ‘VIP Pass + Oasis Lounge,’ will grant holders entry to a special VIP lounge with exclusive bar benefits, including limited complimentary drinks and a shaded lounge. It will be a 1K-piece collection. Two additional collections – Canvas Welcome Box Keepsake and Artist Collaboration Keepsake – will enter the OpenSea market at different times for attendees to purchase.
