FIFA to Launch on New Blockchain
FIFA has revealed plans to migrate its NFT platform, FIFA Collect, from the Algorand blockchain to FIFA Blockchain, its dedicated EVM-compatible network. The migration is slated to occur on May 20th.
FIFA Collect allows football fans to own iconic moments from football games, whether it’s clubs, national federations, or international matches. They allow football enthusiasts to connect with their favorite players, moments, and the game in general. Now, the digital collectible project is bringing its football-themed project into the Ethereum ecosystem. This update will introduce new products, enhance performance, and drive overall growth. Cool, right?
If you own a moment within the FIFA Collect platform, it’s time to transfer these collectibles to FIFA Blockchain. If you’re not part of the ecosystem yet, this is the best time to join the bandwagon. Remember, the migration date is only 19 days away.
