OpenSea Debuts OS2 Private Beta
Renowned NFT marketplace OpenSea has lived up to its promise to introduce new utilities to its ecosystem. Through the newly launched OS2 private beta, OpenSea allows nearly 50K wallets holding the Gemesis NFT to access the new platform.
The OS2 platform features a new user interface for the broader OpenSea ecosystem and an experience points system to encourage user participation. This points system allows users to accumulate points when they list digital collectibles, make offers, and perform other on-chain actions to boost interaction with the NFT marketplace.
Some OG OpenSea users were unhappy as they didn’t get a slot on this big move. But, the platform’s co-founder, Devin Finzer, calms them down by assuring them they’re not forgotten.
