Nifty Island Hosts NFT Fishing Competition

Ever thought it was possible for a fishing competition to blend with non-fungibility? Well, it is possible now. Nifty Island recently partnered with Mars Cats Voyage to debut a fishing quest tied with non-fungible benefits.

The week-long fishing contest will occur on islands, such as Doby Mick, Hidden Oasis, and Fishin’ Hole. The fish types released into the waters include Swim Shady, Demonfish, and Gold Demonfish. Each fish type comes with a different number of points; players earn more points by catching the heaviest fish of each type. These points are added to their final quest point total, determining the winners at the end of the competition.
