News Story of the Week
Collector Pours Millions Into GenArt
Autoglyphs, an on-chain generative art collection created by Larva Labs, has become the talk of the non-fungible community. Its eminence springs from the remarkable sale of 10 art pieces to an anonymous art collector who accumulated them for a whopping 5,000 ETH.
Since there are only 512 Autoglyphs collectibles, the acquisition of 10 items means that the collector holds nearly 2% of the total supply. The anonymous collector’s big buy follows the five-year-long existence of the Autoglyphs art pieces. Over the years, the art collection has raked in millions in secondary sales and has been exhibited at prominent venues.
Building on this prominence, the private art collector intends to feature these creative artworks in museums and institutional settings. Want to see these digital artworks on public display?
NFT Drop of the Week
LUX by Bloom Collective
Bloom Collective, a design-led collective of creative talents, is introducing a new exhibition dubbed Lux. The exhibition explores the meditation on light in all its forms as a physical phenomenon, emotional and spiritual metaphor, natural and synthetic light, the illumination of new knowledge, and the speculative future.
Bloom artists harness the manipulative capabilities of light and its counterpoint, darkness, to create artworks with utter freedom, unrestricted by physical reality and restriction. Seven artists have come together to bring the exhibition to fruition. Lux will feature at two art gallery exhibitions – IHAM Gallery and NFT Factory Paris.
Want to see light take on different forms? Then you shouldn’t miss the grand opening of the art exhibition at both galleries.
