NFT News of the Week
OpenSea Welcomes Gaming Expert Mongraal
OpenSea has enlisted Kyle “Mongraal” Jackson as its first game ambassador. Remember, Mongraal was the one who won the Golden Key from Yuga Labs’ Dookey Dash game. At only age 14, he turned heads by qualifying for the Fortnite World Cup.
As OpenSea’s first game ambassador, the 20-year-old gaming pro will help to educate more gamers globally about the benefits of Web3 gaming and onboard them into the ecosystem. Being someone familiar with the gaming mechanics of the Web2 and Web3 spaces, Mongraal believes that Web3 gaming is the best. This is because players get to own their in-game assets. That’s true, isn’t it?
So, grab your game console and unleash your inner game self. Who knows? You could become OpenSea’s next big game ambassador.
NFT Drop of the Week
Recognition Layering NFTs
Fine arts NFT platform OrangeHare has unveiled a collection of 170 digital collectibles dubbed the Recognition Layering. Themed around photography and acrylic painting, this limited-edition collection evolves in a way that moves each viewer to question the difference between what’s real and what’s not.
How did the NFTs evolve? Each piece features real models, real paint, and real hands with faces forward and hands raised. Then, evolution commences—all 170 art pieces are filtered through AI, fine-tuned using graphic design, and merged with hand-painted pieces on paper. The art pieces are grouped into six rarity tiers with varying prices.
Recognition Layering is more than just an art collection. It is a pose lifted from ancestral portraiture. It also has a modern story. Drawing hands has long been the bane of aspiring art students, and more recently, the glitchy giveaway of AI. So, waste no time in owning a piece from this art collection. Remember, there are only 170 pieces. So, jump right in!
