News Story of the Week

Fashion Brands Embrace Non-Fungibility

A recent study shows that more fashion houses have integrated NFTs into their ecosystems. Leading the chart is Adidas. With 12 NFT collections in its arsenal, Adidas has successfully brought non-fungibility into its fashion-themed community.

Footwear giant Nike ranks second on the list. Since it acquired the Web3 studio RTFKT, Nike has stayed committed to launching new non-fungible endeavors. The footwear brand currently has nine NFT collections. Next on the list is the design firm Puma, with six NFT collectibles rolled out so far.

Others on the list include Gucci, Givenchy, Paris, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Levi’s, and Tommy Hilfiger. Nine of these latter brands launched only one digital collection. Six of them have two collections. There’s more to unpack from this study. Dive in!

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching! A non-fungible collection has emerged to help everyone commemorate this lovely festival. Dubbed The Kiss NFT collection, the digital collectibles will feature a 10K-piece derived from The Kiss, a century-old painting by symbolist painter Gustov Klimt.

The iconic painting, currently showcased in the Belvedere Museum, captures a passionate embrace between two lovers nestled within a swirling golden square, portraying the essence of love and the human experience.
