CP1919 Audiovisual Project

Today is the launch day of the CP1919, an audiovisual project created by multidisciplinary artist Peter Saville, musician Stephen Morris, and the Joy Division Archive. It’s gonna be an iconic moment for all rock band fans as this release will feature unheard Ian Curtis’ vocal samples!

Three collaborators launch this project to commemorate the 44th anniversary of the release of Joy Division’s album “Unknown Pleasures” by Factory Records. Dedicated fans of the band will notice that the drop centers around the iconic cover art of Joy Division’s seminal album.

Well, the upcoming drop will feature two NFTs: an open edition made in a monochromatic white color palette and a one-of-one edition made in a monochromatic black color palette. The owners of the open edition will also get a limited-edition t-shirt while the auction winner will receive his one-of-a-kind piece on a commemorative hard drive in a unique slipcase.
