Unlock Your Flair for Architecture in the Non-Fungible Realm
Hey Community!
The NFT realm consistently amazes everyone. Just when you think non-fungibility is no longer gaining traction, something big happens! This week’s updates are a real testament to this. Let’s find out.
In our first highlight, we see CryptoPunks creators, Matt and John, join the Meebits ecosystem as strategic advisors. Who knows what they’re cooking? Our next highlight takes everyone into SigmaX’s artwork created at the intersection between art, architecture, and non-fungibility. The newsletter is truly packed! Let’s take a deep dive into the details.
NFT News of the Week
Meebits Welcomes CryptoPunks Creators
Some of the original creators behind the popular Meebits NFT collection have come back home. Matt Hall and John Watkinson, the founders of Larva Labs, have joined Meebits as strategic advisors. Recall that Larva Labs created Meebits some four years after debuting CryptoPunks.
Since its 2021 debut, the 20K-piece Meebits collection has changed ownership twice. First, BAYC’s creator, Yuga Labs, acquired the NFT collection in 2022. Then, MeebCo took control of the wheels earlier this year. Since gaining ownership, MeebCo has taken various steps to bring Meebits to the limelight, where it belongs.
Admittedly, the Meebits collection has seen minimal engagement over the past few years, compared to other popular digital collectibles. With Matt and John as advisors for the project, Meebits could see more non-fungible growth, benefiting all within its ecosystem and beyond! Will you join the train before it enters the fast lane? Here’s your opportunity to do so!
NFT Drop of the Week
A Day at Museum of Art + Light
Do you love architecture and everything that goes into the creation? Then, you’ll love this unique piece from SigmaX. In his latest creation, dubbed “A Day at Museum of Art + Light,” the architectural artist blends his signature neoprecisionist style with a touch of minimalism.
More than a striking artwork, the release embodies the Museum of Art + Light’s mission to champion and promote digital art while directly supporting the artist behind it. Gazing at the art piece, you cannot help but marvel at the verdant landscape, decorated with modernist geometry, and softened by dappled afternoon light.
Owning one of these pieces enables you to contribute to the preservation and celebration of art for current and future generations, ensuring both the museum and the artist can continue to inspire, innovate, and share their vision within the realm. The drop ends in less than a week. So, waste no time owning this piece of art.
