NFT News of the Week

ApeChain Onboards NFT Staking Featur

ApeCoin, a crypto project tied to the popular BAYC and MAYC NFT collections, has made a bold, non-fungible step to embrace NFT staking more deeply. Before now, NFT staking operations occurred within the Ethereum network. But there’s now a change – the NFT staking service has been migrated to ApeCoin-owned ApeChain.

Why is this a big deal? A Yuga Labs executive explained why. Before now, NFT staking was open to selected countries. Now, it is open to everyone regardless of border. Additionally, the staking initially supported BAYC and MAYC, while Bored Ape Kennel Club collectibles staking occurred only when they paired with any of the first two. Now, it will have its staking pool.

If you still have staked NFTs in the Ethereum mainnet, you will no longer have accrued rewards. So, jump onto the moving train and experience non-fungibility in a brighter light.
